This workshop will cover when and how to prune\, how to shape trees for long-term health\, and how to assess overall tree condition during the dormant season. We will focus on our apple trees but can also offer advice on plums\, peaches\, cherries\, and other fruit trees. \nWorkshop details: \n\n\nInstructor: David Barnet\, Rochester Folk Art Guild \n\n\nHands-on instruction in fruit tree pruning \n\n\nLearn how to shape and maintain trees for healthy growth and fruiting \n\n\nWinter pest scouting and basic tree health assessment \n\n\nWhat to bring: \n\n\nBring your own pruning shears if you have them\, or use shared tools provided \n\n\nThe workshop will take place outdoors.
