SUMMARY:Master Gardener Fall Garden Gala
DESCRIPTION:The Genesee County Master Gardeners will be hosting their annual Fall Garden Gala on Saturday\, September 19\, 10:00 am to 1:00 pm\, rain or shine. \nThe annual event will be held on the grounds of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Genesee County\, 420 East Main Street\, Batavia. \nThe plant sale features a variety of perennials\, many of which are from the gardens of Master Gardeners. There will also be a selection of houseplants. The plant sale starts promptly at 10 am. No early birds please. \nVisit the Basket Auction for a variety of themed baskets. The Basket Auction runs from 10 am to 12:30 pm. Winners will be notified on the Monday (Sept. 21) after the Gala. \nGently used garden books will also be for sale. \nBring a soil sample from your garden or lawn for a free pH test. (A half-cup sample of your garden soil in a clean plastic container is plenty.) \nMaster Gardeners will also be available to answer your gardening questions. \nDon’t miss your chance to pick up some great plants at great prices. Arrive at 10 am for the best plant selection. Proceeds from the event benefit the educational outreach of the Genesee County Master Gardener Program.
