Hand-On Mushroom Inoculaiton

April 17 @ 4:30 am - 6:30 pm
Mushrooms

Mushroom inoculation is the process of introducing mushroom spawn (mycelium) into a substrate, such as logs or sawdust, to begin growth. It involves drilling holes, inserting spawn (plugs or sawdust), and sealing them with wax to prevent contamination. Ideal conditions include moderate moisture and temperature, typically allowing for colonization over 6–12 months.
