We received a question from a local resident that is no longer physically able to maintain their yard. Wondering if we knew of any available resources that connect seniors with young people or high schoolers looking for a little extra money and willing to do a bit of weeding around their yard.

We found a few options for people in other cities or states, but nothing geared towards Webster, NY.

There were several facebook posts from people in similar situations looking for assistance. Unfortunately, the posts quickly evolved into advertisements for various local landscape services. Services that yes, would work for some, but not for residents on fixed incomes.

Rather than throw up our arms, we’ve started this page to hopefully connect Webster residents with the assistance they need.
